Polyethylene (PE)

PE is powder colour produced on thermoplastics basis. It is not unhealthy. Our plant uses PE in several basic colours: white, black, red and brown. It is suitable for surface treatment of products for household. Coated PE layer is ca. 0,5 mm thick, it is relatively soft and behaves favourably concerning dishes storage etc. Surface treatment of products from metallic and also not metallic PE materials is carried out by so-called fluid method on automatic glazing line.

In general it means that products are hung up on metallic palettes which come into the 1. furnace where they are warmed up. Then they are sunk into the bath with powder PE where PE is "stick on" products and in the 2. furnace PE runs on products.
